Visit Columbia Law School
Columbia Law School is open for visitors from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, except for University holidays. Prospective students are welcome to visit the Law School and take a self-guided tour. An admissions representative will be available to answer questions about the application process or life at Columbia Law School. Please be aware that staff availability is limited and we cannot guarantee a meeting with any specific person or position.
Summer Hours: Starting on June 3, summer hours for visitors are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 9 AM to 1 PM on Friday.
Campus Renovations: Due to major enhancements and upgrades, Jerome Greene Hall (the main law school building) and the law library will be closed from May 25 to August 5. If possible, visitors are encouraged to avoid scheduling a visit during those dates.
Visitors are strongly encouraged to register in advance and are required to provide a photo ID to enter any building. Please select your visitation date and your expected arrival time to campus through the calendar on this page. Some dates and times may not be available due to office closures or on-campus events.
Class visitation: We invite admitted students to attend a sampling of classes during your visit. Please refer to the Spring 2024 class schedule to view available courses. Note: The last day for class visitation is April 24.
